Terms & Conditions

Welcome to JVR Rentals and Services. By booking with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which are designed to ensure a smooth, fair, and professional rental experience.

1. Reservations & Deposits

  • A deposit of $20.00 is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future event if rescheduled within 7 days.

  • Full payment is due 1 day before delivery or at delivery, unless otherwise agreed.

2. Delivery, Setup & Pickup

  • Delivery and pickup times will be arranged in advance. Customers must ensure access to the event location (e.g., gates unlocked, space cleared).

  • Standard delivery includes drop-off and pickup at ground level. Extra fees may apply for stairs, long carries, or complex setups.

  • Setup/breakdown is available for certain items (tents, arches, balloon garlands, etc.) and will be included or charged as stated on the invoice.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Renter is responsible for all rented items from the time of delivery until pickup.

  • Items must be returned in the same condition as delivered, free from damage, stains, or misuse.

  • Renter must ensure that tents, tables, and other equipment are used safely and only for their intended purposes.

4. Damage, Loss & Cleaning

  • Renter is responsible for replacement or repair costs if items are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.

  • Excessive cleaning (e.g., stains on linens, gum on chairs, or candle wax on tables) will result in additional cleaning charges.

  • Missing items will be charged at full replacement value.

5. Weather Policy

  • JVR Rentals is not responsible for weather-related cancellations. Once items leave our warehouse, the rental fee is non-refundable.

  • Tents and outdoor equipment must be secured at all times. Rentals should not be used in unsafe conditions such as high winds or severe weather.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 1 day in advance. Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Orders canceled within 2 hours of the event date may be subject to a cancellation fee up to 50% of the total order.

  • Rescheduling is permitted subject to availability, and deposits may be applied to the new date.

7. Liability

  • JVR Rentals and Services is not liable for injuries, accidents, damages or death that occur during the use of rented items.

  • Renter assumes all responsibility for the safe and proper use of the equipment.

  • Renter agrees to hold harmless JVR Rentals and Services from any claims arising from the use of our rentals.

8. Photos & Marketing

  • JVR Rentals may take photos of event setups for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to have your event featured, please notify us in writing before your event date.

​

9. Agreement

By placing an order with JVR Rentals and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
